Dosage & Usage
Unlike regular honey, mad honey can have strong effects on your body and mind.
Here’s the tricky part: there’s no one-size-fits-all dosage for mad honey. Why? Because it depends on the individual’s tolerance and metabolism and also the amount of grayanotoxin (the stuff that makes mad honey “mad”) can vary a lot between different batches.
If you’re new to mad honey, start small. Some experienced users suggest beginning with no more than a teaspoon (about 5-7 grams). Remember, it’s always better to take too little than too much.
Consuming Mad Honey Safely
> Start with a tiny amount, especially if it’s your first time.
> Wait at least 1 hour before taking any more.
> Have a sober friend with you to keep an eye on you.
> Don’t mix it with alcohol or other substances.
> Don’t drive or do outdoor activities after taking mad honey.
The Dangers of Taking Too Much
Taking too much mad honey can be really dangerous.
It can:
- Mess with your heart rhythm
- Make you buzzed for a long time
- Cause temporary paralysis
- In extreme cases, make you unconscious
Know Your Source
Where you buy your mad honey matters a lot. The amount of toxins can be very different depending on where it comes from. Make sure you’re getting it from a trustworthy place that tests their honey.
